Finding your subject would be exceedingly tough particularly if you've got the entire world as the source of your subject. But like every other problem, essay writing also follows 1 or 2 steps. These steps would include deciding the topic that you want to write, preparing the outline to summarise your ideas, writing your proposal statement, writing the body of your essay, writing the main points, writing the sub-points, elaborating those sub-points, writing your introduction, writing your conclusion, and then your finishing touches.
If you are making your essay from scratch then it might be tedious to think of a certain subject which will really hit your audience. You'll be confused on what topic to select from since the whole world would appear to present itself before you. Although this first task you have would be more intimidating, this would also make you more inquisitive about writing your essay.
So , the first thing you must do is define your purpose. Think of the purpose why it is you're writing your essay. Is the purpose to encourage the readers to believe what you believe, do you want to elucidate something, or would like to educate your readers of something? Whatever your topic is, it must fit to that purpose.
Next is to brainstorm subjects that interest you. If you've decided on the purpose of your essay then put down the subjects that are related to your purpose. Whatever purpose you have for your essay, the amount of subjects that you can think about is never-ending. That subject should concern you. You can think about your life, your hobbies, or anything that occupies most of your time. Don't allow that to subject slip away, get it down on a paper.
Then, you can judge about each potential topic that you have written down. Consider each subject that you noted and think about how you feel about this subject material. If your purpose is to educate, then you must be well-inform on the subject that you would like to teach. If your purpose is to encourage, then you must be at least keen on that subject. In selecting which subject will be suitable for you to write then you must consider the number of ideas you can think about that topic.
Before you will make a choice on the topic that you are going to write, think about your audience. Should your essay be for general review, or are they written for express research of something? If you know the reviewer of your essay then you will be ready to move to the very next step of essay writing. Just be sure that your subject is distinct to your aim.
