I did not know this was a Teen book when I ordered all of the Max books.

Am sorry I did and wish I had not spent my money on books I will not enjoy.

I have been reading this for couple of chapters. It is difficult for me to understand the concept of a boy with wings, too futuristic for me, I want to stop reading it, but feel I must since I paid for it. I was very surprised that Patterson name would be on a book like this…I liked his old books better. I will be more careful in purchasing books on Kindle, this was my first read on Kindle 2. Sad.

It’s my fault for reading this book having not read the first of the series. If you have you may like it; if you haven’t….good luck. I thought it was horrible.

Maybe it’s because I haven’t read the other books in this series but I am finding this book very silly and hard to follow. Several references are made to other books in the series, with an explanation of “But you already knew that”. Well I don’t already know what Patterson is talking about. He needs to give some background of the other books in the series instead of just assuming that everyone has already read them. I am finding this book just plain silly and sort of like a cartoon. I can’t even force myself to continue reading it, let alone go back and read the others.
