Well, although I’d love to review the actual book, I can’t because there are spaces after every single paragraph. I made it through about 10 pages and gave up. It is ridiculous for Amazon to sell something so obviously flawed…have the digital editors packed up and gone home?

…but a review of the Kindle addition. This is the third book I’ve bought on my Kindle that has had formatting issues. There are extra spaces between each paragraph. After a hour on the phone with Amazon, I got it refunded. Will be going out today to buy a paperback copy, as I believe Nora is not to be missed. Just wanted to put this up as a warning for those who are considering buying this on their Kindle. Hold off until they get it fixed. Also…if anybody else is willing to download the sample, can you tell me if the formatting is off on your machine? They tell me it is a publisher’s problem, but it is happening too much to me for me to think that is the issue. Thanks.

This was a nice story. The only problemis Roberts’ detailing of the life/activities that a professional photographer deals with on the day to day.
I do understand that fiction doesn’t have to have all the truths of real life; however, a major part of the character development and story development deals with Mac’s being a pp. The details were wrong and not in an i before e sort of way. Wrong in a big way.
As a person who works closely with pp’s these descriptions and details kept pulling me out the story.
Aside from that, it was an ok story.

This was my first (and last) Nora Roberts book. Just one word sums it up and that’s BORING! I don’t know what all the hype is about Nora. The characters were so flat and boring and i found my self dreading to pick it up and finish it.

I can not rate this book as I have not read it. I read the beginning only to discover that it was not what I was expecting. I may get into it later, but in the meantime, I don’t feel qualified to rate it.
